About the Italian Design 2024 Artcurial auction
On Wednesday, May 29, Artcurial presents its auction dedicated to Italian Design, featuring a selection of rare, iconic pieces of post-war Italian design. Highlights include the « Uovo » lounge by Ico Parisi and the « Stella » lamp by Gio Ponti, designed for the London Hotel. Milanese designer Gabriella Crespi will be represented by three pieces from her Orientalist period, including the famous « Lotus » table. Also noteworthy is the sculptural bookcase « Luigi o mi amate voi » by recently deceased designer Gaetano Pesce, estimated between €40,000 and €60,000.
