For its first Design sale in Monaco, Artcurial is presenting DESIGN SUL MARE,  two exceptional Italian Design collections from two seaside resorts: Mykonos and Roquebrune-Cap-Martin.

The first chapter is devoted to a set of ceramics by Ettore Sottsass that belonged to the illustrious dealer Mario Tazzoli, owner of the Galatea gallery in Turin and since kept by the current owner in Mykonos.

The second chapter is dedicated to the career of the collector Céline Marcato, this set of one hundred pieces representing the Italian landscape of the 1950s was scrupulously selected by the owner with names such as Gio Ponti, Gino Sarfatti, Fausto Melotti or Gabriella Crespi. But also some exceptional pieces by the Campana Brothers such as the Settimio cabinet an edition of 3, one of which is in the collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
