About Bosquet’s project
Steps from the shimmering grey-green waters of the Seine, just across the river from the luxury boutiques of Avenue Montaigne, and two blocks from the Eiffel Tower, a regal stone façade stretches up before you. Welcome to the Douze bis Bosquet, the new haute couture address dreamed up by the celebrated designer and interior architect Damien Langlois-Meurinne.
Ascend the classic marble staircase, with wrought iron detailing, or take the ornate Haussmann-era elevator to the fourth floor—and pause to admire views of the Eiffel Tower. When you open the solid wooden double doors, a vast entrance hall opens up before you. The remarkable volume of the room is striking, and a mirrored wall further amplifies the space. Rays of inset brass in the marble floor catch the sunlight pouring in from the adjacent rooms, warming the cool, white stone. Modern, chandelier-inspired lamps glow above. Like a gallery, the hall presents an array of beautiful sights: doorways lead you to one exquisite room after another. The grand salon is the first in a stunning succession of common areas, offering you a range of contexts for socializing, relaxing, and entertaining.
Throughout the apartment, many of the original wooden floors have been preserved, diffusing a timeless warmth and sense of history. Sun streams in through floor-to-ceiling windows, bathing the soft colors in enchanting Parisian light.
