This Italian Design auction was held during the PAD Paris week on March 28, 2023 at Artcurial. We were honored to present an exceptional work by Carlo Mollino, a desk made for the Lattes publishing house in Turin in 1951 and kept for more than 40 years in the same collection. Only two examples of this model are known to date, one in a private collection and ours.

A wall-mirrored sideboard from the Gio Ponti and Luigi Fontana collaboration was presented, as well as a wall cabinet in Ferrara burl veneer from the Hotel Royal in Naples made by Gio Ponti in collaboration with Dassi. We also showed an exceptional pair of ceiling lights from the BBPR studio made for an Italian cultural association in Rome and having the particularity of having been ordered in a yellow lacquer finish, never seen on the market.

Finally, the Bazaar sofa from the radical Superstudio group in original fur, with its illuminated circular table. A hand-painted Proust armchair from the Mendini workshop made in 2008 concluded this exceptional sale.
